My first ride

Yippy! I got to go on my "first" motorcycle ride with Mike. Ok so I was a little...alot scared at first. I have not had good experiences on bikes but I did well... he said so! My first ride the guy brought me home after 1 block because I was shaking so bad. The second ride, I told the guy what happend the first time and all he did was take me on the freeway for an hour ride. I was not happy!!!! So this time Mike took it slow at first, we went around the neighborhood the out to faster roads. I had So much fun! Here's hoping I get to go out again soon!

BABY'S FIRST HAIRCUT

So after much protest from both grandmas Jace got his first hair cut on the 15th. Mike sat down on the floor with him and with a pair of scissors did a little snip snip here and a snip snip there... and well, we think the results are definitely worth it. I hadn't realized how much like a hobo he looked ...with a used toupee. So you tell me which do you like better...

It's pumpkin time

Well the weather is starting to get cooler and the leaves are starting to change. Jace is getting so big! He has taken to chewing on his fingers and his feet when he can reach them. He routinely rolls over from his back to his tummy and thinks that it is great fun to try to roll out of his stroller if he isn't strapped in. We took him to Apple Hill today he saw geese and apples galor. Here he is hanging out on the smaller of the two pumpkins they had there. The other one was 1138 lbs. It was the second largest in the state of California. Jace was happy to stay on the 50 lb pumpkin. It was much more his size.

Long time

Well, it has been a while since I blogged. Things here are going great. Jace is getting so big. The last time was weighed him he was 16 lbs. Everybody tells me that he looks at least 6 months old. He's only 3 1/2. Recently we went to Lake Tahoe to visit Grandma Ronnie, she took us to the Reno Air races and we had fun watching the planes race around. Jace has been practicing rolling over. I put him down on a blanket and the next thing I know he is on his belly, I look back a few min. later and he is back on his back. We discovered that he does not smile for the camera. I think he gets mesmerized by the red eye light. But if I take the pic with my phone he does great. This picture ended up on the news the other day.
