Halloween '10

What a great halloween !!!!  Michael and I spent the morning carving pumpkins then we got him dressed/wrapped.  Then came the hard part... Getting Jace into his costume!  Not a difficult costume to put on, but my boy has a very specific opinion on everything and he did NOT want to wear it.  He started to scream "No, No, All Done!!! All Done!!! oFFF"   Pulling and tugging.  But I have faith!   I know if I get someone telling him it looks good and he feels good in it, we Might be golden!    Then we start trick or treating and he is scared to death of the neighbors.  Fortunately once Mike joined us Jace had all the confidence in the world.  He mastered the technique of holding up his bucket and saying "tweat" and the "elcome" is what he says for thank you. So cute.   I gave up and headed home,  Two hours later, Mike and Jace come running up the street happy as can be!!!

No body told me

Apparently I slipped into a coma and missed spring and summer here in Rexburg, because today it snowed so hard it must be Christmas time.   Ok it wasn't terrible but the flakes were huge!!!

Re: Counting

Well, since my last post things have changed... JACE CAN COUNT.   Mike has been counting to ten with him when he gets him dressed.  In the past jace would parrot back up to 5.  Yesterday mike was counting Mike: "1-2" Jace: "toooo" "3" "thee"  "4-5" "Siss" "7-8" "nin"  "10".  I was so proud, he know what comes next and in my book that is counting!!!!  He also now know how to put on his socks and pants.  So all in all he can put on his socks, shoes, pants and hat.  I think we are just waiting for the shirt!    What a boy!!!

Counting

Well it seems that recently we are all counting.  Mike is counting down till he is done with Finals, I am counting down till Tax day is over, and Jace is counting just to make sure we havent forgotten anybody!  Ok, he can't really count.  I am trying to teach him how to hold up two fingers when people ask how old he is ( were just practicing till he turns 2).Below is a Picture of Jace and his "Pose".

busy busy busy

Helloooo, What a time! We are loving it here in Idaho but we have been crazy busy! Mike is in the middle of mid-terms and is doing well keeping up his straight A average! I am so proud of him. He is also currently working on campus for the electrical department. He enjoys working on campus and the flexability they afford him. We have also had the blessing of good insurance while here so Mike is feeling good right now and spending time in the gym! I am currently working for Liberty Tax Service as a preparer and I am really enjoying that, I also just passed my Life & Disability (health) Insurance test and am hoping to get started selling those soon. I would be working from home so that would be a huge blessing. I tell people that I am in the middle of an identity crisis, I used to be so right brained in everything I did... you know, massage, photography, etc. Now I do taxes and sell insurance. When did that happen? Anyway I am enjoying myself but am anxious to start school. If I do well enough in the insurance than we would be able to afford it.

Jace is growing by leaps and bounds. He is 20 months old and now wears anywhere between a 2T and a 3T. Everyday he says more and more. My favorite right now is Ohh-Nooo. Its just so cute. He tries so hard to do the things we do. He pretends to put deoderant on, does his hair just like Mike, he even has graduated to the table with us. No more high chair. (That was more for my sanity than him, everytime he was hungry he would pull out the chair and ram me with it.) I get it your hungry! Everyday he lets me know that he needs his diaper changed so I'm thinking it might be time to potty train him soon. Right now we are teaching him how to pull up his pants and how to flush.
